Youth Advisory (Test)

We're conducting research on How Social Media Use Promotes Relational Wellbeing in the Global South. This is a multi-national project spanning from 2026–2028. 

We’re looking for passionate and curious young people (ages 14–18) to join our project as part of our Youth Advisory Board. 

Role 

• Share your opinions and feedback on our project activities, tools, and results. 
• Join meetings and group discussions to ensure project improvements. 
• Transform our findings and reports into a digestible format for youth. 
• Collaborate with the research team to make sure young people’s voices. are considered, heard, and valued.

Qualifications and Required Competency

• Must be 14–18 years old.
• Indonesian/Indian/South African/Vietnamese citizenship.
• Strong interest in research.
• Proficiency in English.
• Social media savvy.
• Communication: able to speak up, share ideas, and give constructive feedback. 
• Academic reading: willingness to read scientific papers.

Commitment and Benefits

• You'll spend about 15hrs/month. Most activities will be done online or during flexible times.
• Compensation: USD $250/year (~300k IDR/month) -- tentative
• Participate in a multi-national research project with real-world impact. 
• Mentorship and exposure to research and evaluation methodologies. 
• Recognition and inclusion in project outputs and dissemination activities. 
• Capacity building through interactive workshops.
