We're conducting research on How Social Media Use Promotes Relational Wellbeing in the Global South. This is a multi-national project spanning from 2026–2028.
We’re looking for passionate and curious young people (ages 14–18) to join our project as part of our Youth Advisory Board.
Role
- Share your opinions and feedback on our project activities, tools, and results.
- Join meetings and group discussions to ensure project improvements.
- Transform our findings and reports into a digestible format for youth.
- Collaborate with the research team to make sure young people’s voices. are considered, heard, and valued.
Qualifications and Required Competency
- Must be 14–18 years old.
- Indonesian/ Indian/ Vietnamese/South African citizenship.
- Strong interest in youth social development issues, particularly on welfare and digital inequity.
- Proficiency in English.
- Tech savvy (familiarity in social media platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and Canva).
- Demonstrated interest in advocating for adolescent well-being.
- You'll spend up to15hrs/month. Most activities will be done online or during flexible times.
- Monthly monetary compensation.
- Participate in a multi-national research project with real-world impact.
- Mentorship and exposure to research and evaluation methodologies.
- Recognition and inclusion in project outputs and dissemination activities.
- Capacity building through interactive workshops.
